Your property may include forest stands of high-value species,
such as sugar maple and black cherry, used for cabinetry and
flooring. Other species, valued for construction materials, paper
or firewood, may also be present.

Your woodlot may also contain valuable wildlife habitats,
streams or wetlands, all of which can contribute to the overall
health of the forest. However inappropriate woodcutting practises
in the past may have resulted in the best seed trees being
removed, reducing stand quality.
